Hi, I’m Kristy—the quilter behind Colorful Hair Quilting.
Quilting has been a creative outlet for me for many years, and I especially love working with color and design. What began as a passion for making quilts of my own naturally grew into long-arm quilting for others. There’s something truly special about helping a quilt reach the finish line and seeing how the right quilting design brings everything together.
I’ve been using my long arm to quilt for clients for several years, and I enjoy taking the time to choose designs that enhance each quilt rather than distract from it. Whether a quilt is bold and modern or soft and traditional, my goal is always the same: to complement your work and help it shine.
In addition to quilting for clients, I love sharing what I’ve learned along the way. Through my blog, I share colorful quilting inspiration, tips, and ideas, along with encouragement for fellow quilters and long-armers. I also offer a newsletter where I share new blog posts and occasional specials on my long-arm quilting services.
I’m based in Miami, Florida, but I happily accept quilts from anywhere. Quilters at all stages are welcome here—whether you’re sending your first quilt to a long-arm quilter or you’ve been quilting for years.
